Maple Desk Library — Deleting your data
Maple Desk Library has no accounts. Your books, notes, recordings, photos and summaries are stored
on your phone, not with us, so almost everything is deleted from the app itself.
On your phone
- A note, quote or book: delete it in the app. Deleted notes and quotes wait in
the bin for 30 days; to remove them at once, open Settings → System → Bin → Empty.
- Everything: uninstall Maple Desk Library. Android deletes all of the app's
data from your phone.
- Backups: delete any backup file you saved yourself. Android's own backup can be
removed in your phone's settings under Google → Backup.
What we hold, and how to have it deleted
- Feedback you sent from the app is kept as an email in the developer's mailbox.
- If you're a Patron, our server keeps, for your invitation, a code for your phone
(stored only in a form that can't be turned back into the code) and monthly cost counts. It never
stores your notes, recordings or anything you wrote.
To have either deleted, email support@mapledesklibrary.com with the subject
"Delete my data". Say which invitation it was, if you were a Patron. We delete it within 30 days and
reply to confirm. Deleting a Patron invitation's records ends that invitation.
